How it decides

  • Each box holds up to 50 characters, so short phrases are combined into one box, in the order you listed them.
  • Phrases are removed if they break KDP's metadata rules — sales claims, Amazon programme names, links — or if every word is already in your title, subtitle or author name, because Amazon reads those anyway.
  • Words that need a second look (like trademarked genre terms) are kept but flagged.
