How accurate is this?

  • Amazon doesn't publish sales. This is a model built from widely published rank-to-sales points, interpolated on a log scale.
  • On amazon.com it agrees with independent calculators. Other stores have no public calibration, so their ranges are much wider — on purpose.
  • Rank reflects recent sales, so one promo day can lift it sharply. Look at rank over several days before drawing conclusions.
